The simpler the person
the more visible the beauty.

Civilisation is not monuments and cities

to books I turn my heart and mind

amidst life's many woes and perplexities

the most precious gifts therein I find

The Creed of a Humanist
(My 12 Rules of Living)

I might be down, but will not despair

I might be bruised, but will bear

I might fear but will stay

I might fail, but effort I will redouble.

I might suffer, but will not be bitter

I might be alone, but will love being my own

I might be forsaken but will not be broken

I might weep but only in silence

I might be bewildered but will not count it loss

I might be misunderstood but no ill-being will I harbour

I might not be loved but will live not in hate

I might be dying but still the last moment I will be savouring

I am a poet,
or I like to call myself one.
My heartaches and heartbreaks give life to empty pages;
I rarely compose from glorious days.
I’m inspired by the world, by people around me
but mostly by my pain.
I consider myself an introvert
for you will rarely hear me speak,
but on the other hand, I have much to say
just not with my lips
but with a pen.
I hide behind ink and paper
ready to write my feelings away.

I am the poetry that I write.

Seeing you
is like seeing raindrops on the pond

Like the cats fur
rippling upon the windowsill

I know where you are
just not when you'll be

..... but wits don't make a person complete
it's character that I desire to meet
William had shaken the whole world-sphere
each has their wisdom-- his wits we needn't fear!

No one needs to be great

their own life to celebrate

in contentment and self-acceptance

they will find life's every effulgence

Birds don't fear branches
  nor the slenderest of twigs
  we don't have their faith
