GODNYX
I watch her dance in the pale moonlight,
Her wild heart that never stays.
Yet for her, the world stands still,
Her sigh breaks men like me.

In every glance, in every sigh,
She holds the world beneath her eyes.
A gentle hand, a steady will,
And when she smiles, the stars ignite.

For love is her, and she is love,
And in her eyes, I see it clear
All that I want, and all that’s dear.
Red
my wrists are red
and my mind has gone blue
clinging to brief release so sweet
as my vision blurs with a dark hue

This love is heaven.
Lost in this dance with your Love.
I shall stay with you
Its a short haiku (5 7 5). Pls critic.
A little birdie upon my sill
Sang a birthday song
Her voice was lovely, mezzo trills
Her voice tripped over yonder hills
She bubbled all along...

"59 birdies" warbled she!
"A bird for every year!
They fly the air for all to see!
They fill the sky, so wild! So free!
Everyone will hear!"

"59 birds?" I just blinked and said,
"There should be another ten!"
The little birdie cocked her head,
"She's too youthful, so instead
We went and shut the pen!

So onward flew the fifty nine!
Different colors for every year
The birdies soared over the pines,
They sang and said they didn't mind,
They all gave a cheer!

Ì have just  reread my poem
Just for a little fùn
The number of birds
Was just absurd
They just gave a birdie blurb
They should be a hole in one!!

This is a poem for my sister's birthday card...
She'll be 69

I wish I was silent.
Your words wouldn't be so violent
I'll stop seeing red, but a pastel violet
I just wish that I was quiet

I wish I wasn't so loud.
Maybe then you'd be proud
My words wouldn't draw a crowd
If I wished I didn't speak out loud

I wish I didn't always overshare
Spilling embarrassing secrets just so you'd care
So maybe one day I'll finally be aware
And I wish I didn't have to feel this despair

I just wish I wasn't ignored
But I didn't want myself to just be stored
And so that's when I poured and poured
I just wish I could get my reward.

I wish my mouth was sewn shut.
I could walk normally, instead of strut
Thanks for all your punches in the gut
I just wish I stopped talking, and so what?
this was my 29th poem, written on 9/21/23. not my fav.. "I see red" ahh
Hello

Why does that little wheel spin?
Why does my patience wear thin?

Where are the poems I seek to read?
Where is the solution that we need?

If you aren't comfortable
On throne you sit striking a pose
Stand by me instead
If not liking the life you chose

Wrong decisions catch up
Sort it out best as we can
If you do not enjoy the direction you're going
With me make a different plan

For none of trespasses
Hurt enough to stop my love
Join me in my bed once more
Something that I'm dreaming of

If you do not love her like you love me
Lie by me and talk
I'll tutor with honest advice
Teach which thoughts to block

I'll walk with wherever you roam
Even take the lead
Tell you how special you are
Help you with whatever you need

If you hold me in your arms
Will not let you down
Give you everything she does
Make you smile when you frown

If you don't picture futures with her
On mind when you're in bed
It is safe to say she's not the one
If you cannot get me out of your head
