Sometimes I feel
Like a lone duck
In the lake
Surrounded by water
And no one
To share it with
Other times I feel
Like a happy duck
Surrounded by water
And friends to
Share it with
Sometimes I feel
The sun
Reaching from the sky
Patting me dry
With her rays
Other times i.feel
The rain
Falling from the sky
Dancing off my back
Sometimes I feel
The leaves falling
From the trees
Tickling my bill
And someiles I
Feel the wind
Blowing at my feathers
Making me smile
And sometimes

You.had no teeth
Yet your smile
Shone like a
Crescent moon
No eyes youhad
But you saw
With your.heart
No money.you
had
But your soul
Was full of
Richness
No ears to hear
But you heard
From within
Raggedy clothes
Strewn about
Yet you were clothed
In beauty
Not understood
By all
A work of
Art
Carved from
The Master's
Bleeding hands

I am afraid
Of silence
Afraid to find out
.who i really am
I can run from
The silence
But I can't
Run away
From me

Silence is calling
Time to gather up my thoughts
And put them to use

Carrying his winter food
Just waiting to hide

Suffocating, drowning,
Adrift in the maze of my mind,
Each twist and turn taking me deeper into the darkness.
Lost. Stuck.
Twisting, sinking weight in my chest.
Falling
        Down,
               Down,
No escape.
Sickness. Disgust.
Thoughts running rampant,
    Don't know what to do.
Trapped in the maze of my mind.

It contains the ideal world,
Mysterious and intriguing,
Providing a means of escape,
With its tales of adventure.

The book is seen in many forms
Hard as the shelf it rests on,
Soft as the creamy pages within,
A perfect means of distraction.

After a rough day, it’s pages are welcoming,
Beckoning for you to escape.
