Passion Never Dies

     Love is for everyone
Not just for the lucky few
Though I know if you’re loveless
You may not believe this to be true

Love is enchanted and magical
Love is a blazing and raging fire
Love is everything we long for
Love is what we all desire

You can love and be broken
You can **** it all to hell
You think you’ll never love again
But you really just can’t tell

Love is more than just a dream
Love is very, very real
For if it wasn’t it wouldn’t
Control how we feel

One thing is certain even if
No one ever hears our cries
Love can and will endure and it
Remains alive for the passion never dies

Willie’s Corner

Everywhere I go I just try to be me
I don’t think about clientele
As far as I’m concerned if they don’t
Like it they can all go to Hell

So even at fifty seven I wear my KISS
Shirts and Paul Stanley designer shoes
I sing KISS songs out loud like Black
Diamond and Nothin To Lose

I don’t care if I am going to Church or a
Restaurant with a rating of five stars
I am who I am, it ain’t gonna change even
When people stare at me as if I’m from Mars

I don’t try to be someone I’m not
Rarely do I wear a suit and a tie
Like when I have to go to a funeral home
Because someone I love happened to die

Most of the time I don’t  even notice
Them looking at me for I am immune
Because until the day I die, I will
Dance to my own rhythm and tune

But there are times when I feel a little
Out of place and resigned
When over the speakers I hear
You were always on my mind

And I must say it was strange
And I was feeling somewhat like a foreigner
At Texas Roadhouse and I Was surrounded by Cowboys and sitting in Willie’s Corner

We went to a Texas Roadhouse Restaurant
I was wearing a KISS shirt and my
KISS necklace and my KISS jacket
My Puma shoes designed by
Paul Stanley and there was some
People in there with Cowboy hats
And boots and the waitress took us
To a booth back in the corner with Willie
Nelson stuff all over both walls and a
Little sign said Willie’s corner.
We no sooner than we sat down and I
Hear Willie’s big hit song begin to play
You were always on my mind. Too funny!!!

Eloisa
And he tried to read my love
I wrote between the lines
Slowly understanding my soul
I put within the words
Turning page by page
He realized my hidden mystery
My essence as a woman
Embedded in my rhymes

Music Interlude

The hustle of the day to day
Can leave us tired and drained
Working so hard just to pay the bills
With nothing really gained

The weekend comes I just want to relax
But I gotta run to the BMV
The salon and the dog groomer
With no time just for me

The Sun is shining and I just wanna
Be by the Ocean on a beach
With a drink in my hand but that’s just
A fantasy a dream out of my reach

Knowing now of my lover music
Her best quality un like life being so crude
I wish I could be more like my music and
Take a break a music interlude

There’s No Me In I

I am different than all of you
But in reality we’re all the same
To the government we’re a number
But we all have our own name

I can take care of myself
But I can’t really take care of squat
I know this and that
But I don’t really know a lot

I can be happy with my accomplishments
And pat myself on the back
I can take the credit for it all but
There would be a falseness on the plaque

I did it without input or influence from
Anything or anyone you know that’s a lie
For I am nothing without God and you and All That surrounds me, no there’s no me in I

Writers Block

Forget the pen, the crayon, the chalk
Throw the words in a wok
My brain is in a complete state of shock
I hear it whisper to me as if to mock

The words un flowing as if they’re in a loch
I try but it’s all just a bunch of schlock
From my wheels I forgot to remove the chock
Can’t even free myself from my frock

So badly as before I want to rock
Everything seems like seagull squawk
Un organized and separated from the flock
Nothing logical desperately needing Spock

Beginning to feel somewhat of a gawk
Thinking I should seek help from a Doc
Because the word inventory is of low stock
This is officially known as writers block

The Heart Of A Knight

   He’s a warrior, a gallant knight
He’s a fearless dragon slayer
He’s got no time for love, he hides
His heart under many a layer

He walks to his quarters alone
He see’s his life with certain clarity
And he hardens his heart
Knowing this is his destiny

Though at times he feels his King
Abuses his power with his dominion
He must honor his King and keep
His pledge to the people of the kingdom

She was of Cinderella beauty
Living her life in poverty
With only dreams of love
But also aware of her own destiny

One evening coming home from his
Routine patrol he saw her at the well
Instantly he knew his life had changed
For he had fallen under her spell

She too had felt something
That she thought she would never feel
The magic was in the air, something
So powerfully undeniably real

Cupid had saved them both
From their dark and doomed plight
With an arrow that pierced through the
Armor and the heart of a knight
