Capriccio
I feel close to losing
Him because I'm to tough too be with
I am sorry and I'll miss him
But I won't fight him.

Because love  hates to fight
Unless it's for something that's right

So let go of your
Ego
or Let go of Him
He was more permanent than other men,
A little more friendly -
And it don’t make no difference.

I ain’t wanted.
Why ain’t you wanted?
I don’t know.

You think it’s a lie.
You won’t get out.
But it ain’t no lie.

He cried.
Lost his smile.
Helplessly broken.

I seen things out here.
Alone out here at night.
I don’t know if I was asleep.

It’s just in their head.
Yeah… sometimes.
But… not always.

You’re nuts.
You’re crazy.
We are too.
Found poetry for Of Mice and Men.

the ways of men
pondered
tears spilled
on the pillow
a poem written
as a prayer
so please
I beg
let me sleep
now
peaceful
please

You rifle through cupboards and drawers
Like some baby grizzly bear:
Bits and pieces pulled out and thrown across the floor
Untidily and indifferently
All in a search to find what you are looking for
A bra perhaps or pair of warmer socks in winter
Clean pants after showering
It's forever old stories by old men and they bore me,
what use of I for daring or to die in combat?

Give me the new, the modernistic view and not tales of the cyclops,
give me more cyborgs, more dot org's, lead me to the overdose and let me have my fill.

What I will hand down to the future generation is my admiration for having survived at all,

I know that we're not getting out
but the seedlings left can sprout
and grow, I
hope so anyway.
I finally broke down every wall for You

And you picked up every single stone
Just to throw it back at me.........
