I cannot compose brilliant poems, sonnets, or verses,

and I cannot speak to you in Latin or Greek;

I cannot move you with any language made up by man.

Love is the only only language I could touch you with

If you only knew how much I could love you.

If you knew I love you;

If I were brave enough to tell you at all.
Beauty, is not what is here...
it is what is lost.
Leave me here
On the floor
Reaching out
Wanting more
Watch you leave
Through that door
From my soul
My love, it poured
I called your name
But what's that for?
As you left
My heart had tore
Because you are my lover
And I was your war
Find yourself, before you let others into your life.
Heart of glass... slipped and shattered.

Your sweet smile brings me back to a time when I actually thought you were made of sugar...
don't mistake salt for sugar - rupi kaur
I gave you my heart on a silver platter
Not that it would even matter

Whether I adorned you in gold
Or loved you until we grew old

Your love was far too great a price
And there remains my one and only vice

To love to deep is such a burden
And on the stage of love
I draw the curtain

He does not mend
My fractured heart
But is the life force
Behind every heartbeat

There are millions of stars
But we limit ourselves
To only a handful of constellations
To tell the stories
Of the sky
