She didn't know why
but within the simple act
of a man taking off his belt
lay all the terrors in the universe

   But one day
this woman
she refused to be afraid for even
one more minute
   She refused to give sway
to fear anymore
She refused to be a doormat
for one more bad egg
in the locker room

   She refused
to be
a fashion
accessory
Being a gay man whom has been victimized and discriminated against, I can totally relate.
Standing next to rocks we once carved
trying to remember the etched memories
of the years gone by,

when I had unison of dreams
and nightmares with you.

the wrath of time spared none,
not even the rocks , I see

but I wait
to conjure everything
from these rocks.

there is something about the air
when it is about to rain,

Did you ever feel it?

Rooms have been silent
Now they are filled with our voices
The silence is gone and our rights will be born
Conceived by the notions of our mothers
And birthed by our sisterhood and determination
Yes my sisters,
Together we will give our hopes and dreams life
Verse 1:
Wala sa yong mga mata
Ang kinang, kislap, na dati kong nasisilayan.
Bakit? Yan ang sinasabi ng

na tuwing gabi’y ito ang nakikita
sa piling mo’t tabi. Ako’y nasasabik
sa yakap at halik.

Bridge 1:
Aking inaasahan
na sanay di sabihing mawawaglit
ang oras, natirang sandali.

Chorus:
Sa pagpanaw mo nagkakadahilan
kung bakit ako’y nanatili’t,
naniniwala sa walang hanggan.

Verse 2:
Kahit may ibang magparamdam
Sayo ako, pangako yun magpakailan man.
Bakit? Dinig ko sa paligid ko
Sayo lang nabuo wasak kong mundo
Nang nag-iisa’y ikaw lang kasama.
Sa yakap at halik, sayo ko nabatid
na mahal kita.

Bridge 2:
Aking inaalala
Sa panahong ika’y nabubuhay pa
ang oras, natirang sandali.

Chorus:
Sa pagpanaw mo nagkakadahilan
kung bakit ako’y nanatili’t,
naniniwala sa walang hanggan.

Sa walang hanggan
Naniniwala sa walang hanggan

Ang oras, at natirang sandali.
Naniniwala
