It kills me
With every single word I say
It kills me
With every single thought I have
It kills me
With every single breath I take
Because no matter what I do
That is the end
Of what we had.
I just really really hope I will not be able to relate to this poem after a while.

since birth i've been plagued with this brutal honesty
that people beg for but then return
with receipt when they don't like the way it works

Mahdi Dn
She had blue skin,
And so did he.
He kept it hid
And so did she.
They searched for blue
Their whole life through,
Then passed right by
And never knew.

A tragic flaw indeed
Is the lack of serenity
For some things must
And mustn't be
But God
I'm too blind to see
The difference between

that star above me
shining bright in the midnight sky
maybe, just maybe
you're looking at it tonight

and you're thinking of me
and how I love the stars
maybe, just maybe
you'll wish I were there

that star above me
might lead you to me
and restore
all that was lost
maybe, just maybe

all those maybies
but sometime I'll face reality
as I look at that star
and know

you're probably at home
playing Xbox with your friends
and I'm the farthest thing
from your mind

phil roberts
He wakes in the morning
More tired than when he went to bed
He makes his coffee with too much milk
The TV news is pretty much the same as yesterday
Just the faces and names may change
The rain pours outside his window
Washing the colour from the day
And he is reminded of a phrase he heard
So often in the mills
A catchphrase of despair
"If this is living, roll on death"
