Tigre was a dog
Poodle though he may have been
A terror to us all.
When he got out on his own,  his chosen whim

But he stayed around, for only five years.
Not many disasters.
Not many tears.

We had to give,
My life away,
So he could swim,
With her today.
NOTES - Good doggie. Lady had to swim for her arthritis. Tiger joined her daily.......

If only this dog could talk,
We'd chat as we went for walks,
Indeed, what would a dog say?
"Hello tree, how are you today?"
"Hello, each blade of grass,
Hope this walk's not my last."
"Hello, cute little poodle,
Puppies we could have oodles!"
But what would a poodle say?
"Just keep on walking, on your way!"

Does it matter if it hurts?
Pain or not
it must be done
cause you and I together,
No longer left
is there any fun.

When the smiles fade,
And tongues cut
Sharper an any blade
When one of us
always feels dis-obeyed
When our bed
somehow seems better
with the covers always made.

Does it matter if it
Still hurts?
Never mind...
I require no retorts.

You're my snickerdoodle, pumpkin strudel,
You're the sauce upon my noodle,
You're prettier then a purple poodle,
You're the one I like to doodle,......on my doodle pad,...
