When I am found in dead of winter,
     My Father is a summer's day;
And if my heart is cold and bitter,
     He breathes the ice and frost away.

In vibrant spring or pensive autumn,
     I will rest in peace, assured;
Though like the earth, my heart is turning,
     I find solace in the Lord.

O, Death, Keeper of Souls
The Eternal Watcher, ye take and give
Thou giveth life, thou taketh away
Grant, that in taking this life, I may
As thou willeth, live again,
Prosperteth, by chance, or choice,
Under thy mercy, that ye taketh not
My life, for one more day
Let this be my only plea, my sole prayer
*“One more day.”
Inspired from Game of Thrones' beloved character Arya Stark. Composition is by my Afro - Asian Literature partner Mogi Castrilo (all credits go to him, of course haha), concept by me

a choir of omens
that fly on wings of death,
and soar on winds of agony.
harbingers of oncoming storms:
what lies beneath cacophonous cackles?

solace in the chains of sorrow.
We all have those feelings....
