The warrior is ready to break,
Due to the difficult journey that caused pain.

Fatigue creeps up on the body and mind,
As he is prepared to raise the flag upside down.

Life’s path has become too rough,
As the fighter tries to hold back tears.

During the quest of survival,
The survivor realizes that quitting is not an option.  

If he throw in the towel,
The samurai not only loses his progress,
But forfeits his right to living.

Because existence is the only option,
He continues his route to the top of the mountain,
Fighting for the right to live a wonderful livelihood.

When I prepare for rest on my cozy bed,
Trauma sets the theme for a horrible night.

No dreams are told during my unconsciousness,
Not even fantasies of success where I’m on top.

Only horror about history pops up in the subconscious,
As tales of fright tell stories which cause me to scream.

Fighting for my right for wonderful adventures,
Playing calming music to setup the stage for beautiful images.

In order to win my desire for happy visions,
I must battle the inner demons during the day.

Once peace of mind is provided throughout the whole day,
Blissfulness during sleep will prevail at dark hours.

Talent is a gift that should be held tight,
Utilizing the skills in order to gain success.

Unfortunately, I have seen a man destroy his abilities,
Wasting a brilliant mind through wicked drugs.

I ran through the fires of hell to earn his intelligence,
Shedding tears and blood to earn the same glory,
And all his potential was given to him at birth.

He threw his expertise down the trash,
All for a vile pill that brings artificial happiness,
Eventually, that evil substance killed him in his sleep,
Never having the chance to shine on the land of opportunity.

Anger boiled through my veins due to a wonderful mind collapsing,
Now, I must grieve properly while securing my own future,
Fighting for the right path to happiness and prosperity.

Boredom and extra time is by my side,
As cognitions dwell on painful events.

Historical and present moments eat up my thoughts,
Thinking how these circumstances can affect destiny.

Depression and anxiety kicks into gear when pondering fate,
Wondering if a secure future is bound for glory in my life.

In order to protect myself from the unknown riddles,
I must stay active with my body and mind throughout the day.

Letting the brain explore new ideas by reading books,
Or moving my muscles through an exercise routine.

Staying occupied due to hobbies of enjoyment is key to sanity,
Always making sure that I’m busy by activities which produce smiles.

When drama arises on the television,
Our eyes glow with wonderment,
Interested in how misery destroys lives.

Every time we read the newspaper,
We stare at the front page containing pain,
Anxious to read what caused so much anguish.

Stories of righteousness are rarely the top headlines,
As our dull lives are fascinated with something different,
So people are amazed by themes of misfortunes that excites.

Individuals are imperfect humans and require excitement,
Living that life where they’re typically working from nine to five,
Needing that spark that leads to shock.

The media should create more stories of peace,
News that can produce a huge smile,
Not entertainment that results in jaws dropping.

Telling tales like recovering from illness,
Displaying those happy people who are healed,
Reporting hope is a much better message.

You stepped on another person’s territory,
Causing tension that leads to conflicts.

Dishonor establishes a feud of contention,
Battling with fists that are filled with pride.

The ego prevails in the mind which ignites anger,
Burning with fury as feelings of disrespect scorches.

These emotions are lethal if not contained properly,
As dangerous actions are committed by contempt.

A person feels like the wrongful act is a slap in the face,
But sometimes, it’s best to turn the other check,
Especially when the unjust action is a minor offense.

Constructing strength through perseverance,
Developing a strong lifestyle dedicated to yourself.

Building success out of enthusiastic purpose,
Progression is on the right path to glory.

Following a route to progress leads to victory,
Battling all roadblocks that stand in the way.

The fighter in you prevails due to determination,
Striving to reach the goal of thriving results.

Dreams can be satisfied by surviving hardships,
Leading to a trail of a peaceful resolutions.
