They say I'm off my hinges,
That I'm spiraling into nothing
And welcoming insanity with open arms.
The voices sing me songs
About love and loss,
Of great battles
Fought at the birth of dawn
And others in back alley ways.
They whisper dark things
Along side the melody of light...
They tell me I'm off my hinges
But who's gonna believe a voice under the bed...?

There’s a third space
That’s not quite here
Yet not quite there.
It’s a dark place
With no clear light
Other than the fireflies
That hover close listening,
To our quiet whispers
To our quick mumbling
And to the declarations.
There’s a slight drizzle,
But I don’t mind,
Because your voice is
      My umbrella
      My blanket
      My everything.
Close my eyes, listening
To the muffled background,
It makes me think
I’m there with you.
But not quite there –
In a third         space,
With you beside me.
I don’t hangup first
Because I want to
Listen for your guard
As it falls         away
Some where in         that

                 Third space.

Feel your heart beat to the rhythm of the universe.
Feel your soul dance to the thundering beat.
Feel your heart beat match the beat of nature.
See the colors clash and flash to the heartbeat of the universe.
Stars and planets are born to the heartbeat of the universe.
Eyes are open to see the horizon instincts bloom into life.
Echoes from ages past flow through the universe like the beat of a heart.
I have found the paradox, found the wonder in the universe.
Open your soul to the heartbeat of the universe.
the sway in the beat,
the smooth approach,
i cannot help myself
i have to move.

the beat is infectious,
the thought provoked,
i want to see, the look.
the astonishment
and feel my heart skip.

set on replay,
one track,
one sound, a smooth groove,
coursing through my veins
bouncing to the beat.

freeze,
switch,
body waves,
the dancer in me
the beat needs to release.

accented, tipped, served,
i find a slight tap,
a steady beat
the stressed relief,
arts in nature,
the beat cannot press me.

I'm okay                                                     I'm hurt
I'm Fine                                                       I'm going to cry
Shut up                                                        I want to hear you voice
Leave me alone                                           I need you
                            **Please don't ever leave me
                                  I'll always run to you

Please stay open eyes
for I’m not ready for this to be the day,
when everything I’ve ever known suddenly fades away.

Please stay open eyes
for my work here has only begun
I’m finally starting to realize
just how special my life has become.

Please stay open eyes
for I can’t help but fear the unknown,
the path that every living creature must someday walk alone.

Please stay open eyes
If only long enough for me to say
“Don’t cry for me” to my loved ones, and then we can be on our way.

Where do I find you?
And when I get there what do I say?
Have you been looking for me too?
Do you know that I'm on my way?

A surplus of questions,
and a shortage of replies.
With each day that passes,
my sadness gets harder to disguise.

But I must keep looking,
even if I don't comprehend.
Cause like any good fairy tale,
the happy part doesn't come until the end.

That for whom I with fervor prayed
Are you that someone?

That whose poems are possessed of passions sweet
Are you that some one?

That whose nature like angels is
Are you that someone?

That whose eyes
view all as children of  God
Are you that someone?

That whose grace is like fragrance
Are you that someone?

That who in rhymes and rhythm I searched
Are you that someone?

That who can repose deep in my soul
Are you that someone?

That for whom I with fervor prayed
Are you that someone?
