I said "I'm falling apart."

Her hands looks so very old
Veins protruded like sandhills on a desert.
Her dry cracked skin resembled parched clay.
Fingers with nails that barely covered their tips
Dangled from those very hands.
It was obvious this poor soul had lived a harsh and stressful life.

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul.
I think the Hands are the Map to get there.

The one they write all the songs about.

I want to know what it's like to be in love.
To be so in love where problems are only,
temporary.
To be so in love,
you are proud.
To be so in love with living.
To be so in love with someone who makes all else,
beautiful.
To be so in love where the hard lessons,
make sense.
I want to be so in love that I can play in the rain again.
I want to wake up and although completely unsure in life,
I'll know that I'm in love.
To be so in love that I can dream.
For now,
