Dear earth when I told you I liked her more, I wasn't kidding

Dear earth, time stopped  whenever I saw her.

Dear earth, tell her if I could go back and change everything I would

Dear earth, the pain is real, the pain is so much real I can't even breathe this words out

Dear earth, your so strong and patient, I wish I could be like you

Dear earth, they say wisdom comes with age, mine came with pain

Dear earth, I would have loved to love my father

Dear earth, what happened to heaven on earth. All i see is hell on earth

Dear earth, am melting into lava

Dear earth, you've swallowed kings and the mighty, be gentle with me

Dear earth, am still holding onto this dear fragile life

Dear earth, why is this poem so empty

Dear earth,say something

Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?**

Fairest of them all you ask? Your question seems unfair.
Am I to pick the brilliant mind, or she with pretty hair?

One who stands and fights for all the things she finds unjust?
Or for the one that gets a second look, the one that all do lust?

She who amuses you greatly, that girl with the sharpest wit?
Or the one with the "perfect" body, that a size two would fit?

She who will stand and take a bullet in her religion's name?
Or her with no talent, and yet still strives for constant fame?

Fairest of them all you ask, this is the wrong question indeed!
You need to look inside yourself to find the answer that you need...

Too many** eyes watching
Too many ears listening
Too many ideals capsizing
Too many thoughts sinking...
And dreams drowning.

Too many drops fallen
Too many smiles forsaken
Too many times beaten
Too many hearts left shaken...
And promises broken.

Too many questions asked
Too many answers hidden
Too many faces masked
Too many hands bitten...
And people forgotten.

Too many words said
Too many pacts fade
Too many boundaries laid
Too many rules made...
And games played.

Too many secrets entombed
Too many feelings consumed
Too many ill thoughts bloomed
Too many enemies groomed...
And hate campaigns resumed.

Too many...
A plethora too many
Too many...
We choose not to see
Too many...
Taken far too lightly
Too many...
There's just *too many,
too many...
on the back numerous hole
quite a few too on the chest
still it clings to my soul
I think it fits me best.

says my flummoxed wife
you’re a miser hopeless
holding on a rag for life
bringing yourself disgrace.

I feign not to hear and shrug
clutching it more to my heart
feeling warm cosy in its hug
my friend the many years’ shirt.

on it lie rivers of sweat
joy and sorrow’s tear stains
time’s all burden of weight
gloomy and dark hours’ pains.

a mere cloth and I find it so hard
to throw it and part our ways
wonder how humans discard
relations grown over years.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep,
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow,
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain,
I am in the morning push,
I am in the graceful rush,
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the star line of the night,
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quite room,
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing,
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there,
I have not left.
Mimi never left us, as she is everywhere
In the loving memory of my aunt Mimi who was loved by everone who knew her. We love you and miss you.
Turning on the T.V, you see a beautiful woman
Standing up, proud and straight.
You look down at your not-so-perfect self,
And your heart fills with hate.

You’re not like that woman,
But you’re beautiful just the same.
You have beauty where she doesn’t
Internal beauty is what you can claim.

If only you could see it,
You’d know your beauty too.
Unfortunately, society has brainwashed us
Into not loving people like you.

If I could change the world
We wouldn’t have to have waists of a centigram.
And I’d have the cute guys love me
For who I am- not what I am.

So look at yourself,
You’re beautiful just like me.
Loving yourself is the right path;
Confidence is the key.
Doghouse Poem

Not knowing how to say things
I sometimes make mistakes
Regret the words that I use
And hope it's not to late

I ask you for forgiveness
For actions that were made
Knowing that I understand
The hurt inside I gave

I sometimes hide my feelings
But hope that you will see
What it is I feel inside
How much you truly mean

Please know you are so special
Your love I hold so true
I give my thanks to God above
Each day that I have you

Ok, make this trend and add it to some collections so I can get out of my doghouse for a stupid thing I may have said.
