We run, we respond;
To challenges, problems & stimuli —
Constantly called upon to analyze situations.
We think too much, we talk too much
But we listen too little.

What fuels us?
Isn’t it His wisdom that soaks us in grace?
Isn’t it peace so we can deal well with the crazy fray?

Hearts, be in notion of being still!
We need to figure out how —
How to sit at Jesus’ feet.
He is here! He can be known!

We can learn
Not just by absorbing His truths
But by basking in His presence!

“I don’t have time to sit;
So much to do; So many challenges to be met.
I need to go fast! Sitting isn’t just going slow,
It’s actually stopping!
If I stop, I won’t get anything done!”

Rational but His principle is counter-intuitive.
Far more powerful than logical human “wisdom.”
You can’t win against the world
By trusting in worldly means.

Sa gunita na lamang ba mabubungkal ang mga nangagdaan?
Pagkat sakdal-lungkot at sisi ang mga anak Mo, Inang Bayan.
Inalipusta’t pinaslang pa, ang mumunti **** katarungan!

Maglakbay ka sa lansangang walang hanggan
Lilipad ka rin sa alapaaap at abang kalawakan.
Humiyak Ka hanggang sa rurok ng sukbo’t hinanakit
Siyang lunas na mabisa sa dusa’t himutok na pasakit.

Itaas Mo ang ang noong aliwalas,
Taglayin ang silahis ng dunong at sining;
Kumilos nang may pagbubuntong hininga’t Iyong lagutin
Ang gapos ng Iyong diwa’t kumukulog na damdamin.

Sagwil sa bawat pikit-matang kaligayahan
Ang natamasa **** pagkabalisa
Buhat sa kurtinang manlulupig ng Liwanag.
Buhay pa si Rizal at hindi Ka itatakwil
Tayo’y hihinga pa’t hahabi sa pluma’t papel.

Lies, shame; innocence ruined
Feeling exposed? Uncovered?
Shame & blame, are a constant theme;
Shame came about,
As a direct result of sin.

That evil twin notion of shame,
That good twin notion of shoulds,
Both are responses to the same root problem.

Inner character, God can truly see;
And those stifling atmosphere
Of work, duty, & expectations
All have nothing to do
With the heart of God.

We tremble in shame,
Wrapped in a sheet or a shift;
But we're a lot closer to salvation now
Than once we're in all our finery.

We're naked in our sins
'Til Jesus died and rose again!
To clothe us in righteousness
Rather than with layers of works & legalism.

Human efforts are so uncomfortable;
It's difficult, useless, and endless work
Of clothing ourselves in a spiritual sense.
But when we admit our need for Him,
In His righteousness & grace,
We can truly rest!

Let us not slip into a place
A place of spiritual nakedness & shame.
Come back now,
Fling open the door of every heart,
For we base our hopes on healing
On what is real, not on how we feel.

Now we plant seeds of redemption
Forget shame, receive lavish blessings
How could such a wonderful thing possibly happen?
