what you eat
your plants, your meat
become you
become me
we are we
we are the trees
and our tears
like our water
descendants of our fathers
i wonder if they had foreseen
the way society now breathes
holding their breath
because we are told our air is toxic
when will we learn
it's the way in which we now live
we must burn
