They locked me away
Cause I was crazy
Said I took too many pills.
Somedays I just screamed

And forgot pay all
The bills
I lost myself trying
To survive on my own
And deal with the
Chatter in my brain
All I could remember
Were the days I tried to dull
The pain.
Angry, shattered and
All alone
I cried on the floor out loud
The day they set me free
was the day
I swore I’d make them proud.
