We are all Custodians of Secrecy.
Have you not ever
Been asked to keep your
Mouth shut?
To not divulge
What you know?
The horrors
The pains
The antithesis of
Ignorant bliss.
That yearning
I feel to just
Let it all out,
To lay bare the abuse
And tragedy of my life.
But I can never say it to
Be so,
I am not that bold
Nor will I ever
See the honest light.
