Bad day


It still remains;
Go away pain.
Impossible dream,
Which will never be.


I count the rings around my finger;
I haven’t even been born and yet it lingers.
I see love everywhere I look;
My shining sun they took.


In this grey world I am no use to you.
With all the love in the world, can I not get one?
One love is all I want.


Find me a new heart,
This one does not work.
I labour through another sentence.
Do not flirt.
Don’t say I am cute, someone will love me.
I have heard it all already.


So many promising moments,
Only ever one answer.
Set your sights lower,
You are no dancer,
Or talented being with a charming personality.
Accept the fact you are beneath all you see.
Go
And leave us be.


There is no love of mine to find.
I tried and I tried and I was denied.
No surprise.
I close my eyes,
To see my future bride.


Nothing seen in years;
Nothing to be seen through the tears.
Nothing left to do but cry.


This is why I like the rain,
It shows me to give up.
Trying every day,
Is only ever a bad day…
