Wherever Far You May Go
Wherever far you may go,
To whichever world,
This world is the only truth,
Rest is just a grief.
While you are smiling,
Everyone is a relative.
But when you weep,
Then you are all alone,
And you have to trod upon thorns,
Laughing becomes a pain.
Wherever far you may go...
Only disgrace stays,
Forget about benefaction.
All passion disappears,
Forget about cheerfulness.
Wherever far you may go...
The shade of a tree,
It is the least selfish.
Selflessly it gives shelter,
To all birds & animals alike.
Wherever far you may go,
To whichever world,
This world is the only truth,
Rest is just a grief.
Inspired by an Indian song in Kannada language.
