I hear the whisper of rain,
I strain and can hear the heavy droplets talk.
The sound of raindrops hitting liquid caused by bubbles of air oscillating underwater.

Underwater, overwhelmed, baptised in a torrent.
Rolling, churning, bubbling, flooding
Flooded with the now roaring rain.
Silence is underwater, peace is underwater, I am underwater.

The talking rain droplets lied
They weren't talking at all
They were shouting, words like heavy water fell
Fell upon my ears and whispered, "I had died".
