The sun is gone,
It has fallen out of sight;
Heads will lie down
Until the early morning light.

Many will be satisfied,
As they clutch their partner to them;
For though they are conflicted,
They embrace their human stem.

Their partners root them to this earth,
And their warmth lulls them to sleep;
I wish that I had my partner
To hold and nightly keep.
