For yet another autumn marking a new cycle
Foliage that once decked the tall oak and maple
Downed in breeze, embracing mother's *****
Delighted earth  sense their tender embrace

For man that owned the trees with foliage
Man of might thinks of getting his gadget
To gather the lovely but messy leaves
To bag them and send them out of sight

Tedious is the task in the cool brisk air
For he knows not what they spake to him
Had he just listened, he would forget himself
In their language of love and acceptance

Alas the split between two worlds ripping
At the heart of man and  his foothold
Will one you let go and let the other be
Without having to lose the love between all

It is for that day that I long for
I die here having nothing to eat
For I know not how to survive
Having lost in thoughts of earth and man

Will I wither like the leaf and be happy
to be laid down on my earth's *****
when my time is here to embrace
Mine own mother from whom I came

Dust into flesh and blood was formed
To be human with veins and vessels
Muscles and movements
Mind and brain that took me far

Far from presence and the present
Far into the wilderness  of human jungle
Rather than be here and the now
Rather than be with my mother and yours

To be reborn or to be put to rest
Unconcerned of what may come next
For having complete trust it is for best
So let it all be in the breath of the moment
