I lay here and wonder about
The cruelty in our world today

People will judge and hate you
Before giving you a chance
And you won't have any say

They'll make assumptions
And laugh in your face, or worse
They might spit as you pass by

Yet all that we can do is lay here
And hopelessly wonder why
Why?
