locking hands and picking fights with each other's heart
that's when you see that the love is alight

when the arguments turn into awkward silences
then you realize the love's about to die

there's no more picking little fights & your fingers through my hair
a lack of smiles, an increase of tears across my cheek

you know it's about to die, when the passion fades
there's no spark to keep us in sync
the smile you get when you hear my name
it's now replaced with endless doubt

the smile I got when I loved you
it faded away when you started loving
and putting your love into someone's else heart.
