I'll try find a home
And forgive all in a poem
We'll see where it lands
Put it up to fate
I hope we aren't too late
With all the plans we had
The grounds much harder, oh
We're used to clouds, oh no
Well, if it's important to you

If I drink all summer long
And write my story in a song
Then would that help me land
If I follow my own path
Then I can't go wrong
That's what the teacher said

The grounds much harder, oh
We're used to clouds, oh no
Well, if it's important to you
Then it's important to we
You tried to help me see
But I don't want to know
But I guess I have to grow

Now, where can we let emotions land?
What became of the plans we had?

Why are we not together?

Why are we not together?
I guess outsiders know

Forgive my wording of this poem
See I'm too far from a home
Where all emotions land
I brought all the ones
That create melancholy songs
They paint the dreams we had
The grounds much harder, oh
We're used to clouds, oh no
Well, if it's important to you

Oh what became of the dream we had?
What became of where we thought we'd land?

Why are we not together?
Why are we not together?
I guess outsiders know
