If
If I could
Spill at least
A single thought of You,

The Me would
Drown Earth
In the ocean sweet of blue.
That's the way it goes
I've got myself a new shade
A deep and dark colour
They mix well together
Come closer
I won't bite
Much!
Let my lips smother
But only if you want
I wouldn't want you to choke up!
see me in streams of awareness uninterrupted
how did we get here and why did we come
i see thee in spirals a thousand selves to shine
beautiful dreamer send me your love
ill send you a message on the wings of a dove
several thousand breaths go by
before the winged daughter flies
into nights abode
on horseback you rode naked
i saw your reflection collecting in puddles by a lake
we never knew what’s at stake when we signed up for this life
sever yourself from the stars that decrease your gyrating
keep your hands and arms safely in this vehicle and out of the way of harm
i’ll swerve around the obstacles that block our hearts
and we’ll become as free and wild as tender blades of grass
yet i’ll continue to sharpen my feathers daily on the talon’s edge
for every breath is a dagger and every love is a cage
dragging parts around that should have been left behind
it reminds me of a harmony seen only by blind men
a sign of familiar sameness
the elements are round and famous
fornicating in basements and train stations
i announce my presence after i’ve arrived
in diamond eyes threads of tapestries unwind
come clean and it will all be fine
intelligence is mind
there is no reason behind being
the only sublime understanding is le mort we are mending
souls and bullet holes the size of saturn’s earrings
her-eyes-on the horizon the edge of infinity
her-eyes-on the horizon the skin that holds divinity
her-eyes-on the horizon take those beatings you call living
her-eyes-on the horizon turning ninety degrees and remembering
Self before time and space
the mountains that chased you through mazes and hedges covered in thistles
the briars that stung you like hundreds of needles
the nettles we boiled in kettles for healing the draughts you caught
in rainstorms dancing wild like raindrops striking pavement with bare feet thumping to music of heartbeats breaking
i say forsake the elemental demiurge
and splurge on a thousand year vacation
At sight, just this one bloom,
that spectacularly spreads,
it's warm purple petals wide
above us, like a big benevolent lotus,
causing  the magic of dawn and dusk,
day after day,indefatigably!
Galloping fast , then leading
to a day,turning it different
for each, an astonishing feat!
Closes at night, claiming  back
all radiance, he brought along,
in between  deftly he addresses
trillions of neurons at work  of every kind
all alone; simply phenomenal!

Isn't it an incredible everyday miracle?

But do we ever thank the wonder bloom
except the ancient sages who structured
a mantra* to praise his astonishing gifts.
Prime source of light for the humans, this!
a wonder one of a kind, he sure is,
well, till the day 'God decides
to play dice', yet again!
*Surya Gayatri--Hymns in salutation of the sun that stimulating brains and keeping the world alive, included  in the ancient Indian texts Vedas  called Surya Gayathri, Gayathri is the poetic meter in which hymn are structured.

wonder how the days have withered my leaves
into songs recalled and loves remembered
all along I thought the sun was shining
but then I got all old and wiser

amazing how the crystal clear of youth ambers     like
an ancient jewel

how these eyes got so much dimmer yet
brighter in hope in seeing things clearer
even though the distance blurred the close is
obscured

how then I found one day a jewel
among the crystals of a sand dune

is amazing again
I sit and analyze and I guess

it's karma
What if,
the moon and stars appeared on sunny skies
well, i've seen God's wisdom, they're fine the
way they are, their time, their distance, their
glittering presence.....their habit of twinkling
at night, not day, is  justified, they're lovelier
more dazzling on a darker  blue sky.....i gaze
at them in awe, no words uttered...just sighs.
also, i've
seen God's wisdom about life's many  roads.
i'm fine, i have survived......earthly existence
is decked with many paths........busy, or less
traveled...always lead to new ones, after the
other, then to another......life goes on.......it's
where, it's when, the day's challenges start.
so....
i leave the house...start my daily trek in life
prioritizing familial  and  personal errands
i walk right  to the corner.....to where noisy
turkeys turn so red, when i get  close to the
fence...to my left, the open road.....peopled
noisy...busy, humming with activities...my
connection to the world outside the village
rain or shine, day or night, if i need to hear
breaths of life...of noise,  a tad of change in
atmosphere, cups of good coffee, a bowl of
soup and crackers, bond with good friends
bond with my  Creator  in a nearby church.
when
not too tired...i retrace my way back home.
God guides me....through long  and  faded
red unscrubbed sidewalks, grasping mossy
fences, lest i fall on slippery concrete...lest
i miss my quiet, my sacred space for good.
it's
never easy, finding God's wisdom, in pain
and suffering.......yet after each road taken
i gaze at the dark blue sky.....tell the moon
and quivering stars................"i'll  be  fine."
