clouds that are so true
in their background of blue
constantly changing
to something new

images in your mind
of things you knew
images of faces
of people you knew

animals, kids racing
with sunshine and rain

beautiful figures
from beautiful times

so lay back and wonder
within your mind

your everlasting feelings
of clouds from your times
Everybody thinks life is so unfair
Let them wear my shoes

I don't cry
i don't complain

i have to quit watching
the news
They call it poetry

But I call it life
The pills doesn't work
I took it over and over
But still
It doesn't work

Each and everyday passes by
I fake a smile to the world

No one knows
Underneath my smile
Is my broken heart

But
I had reached a breaking point
The crystals streamed down my cheeks

I can't stand it anymore

"SOMEONE !"
"PLEASE !"
"HELP ME ! HELP ME !"

"I'M DYING.."
**"I'M DYING INSIDE..."
Depression took over..

my vision blurs
as my palms grow sweaty
i struggle to breathe in air
and as the room caves in
i grow to hate the way
i still think of you
despite the mess you made

e.m
People ask me what's going on
I tell them all I'm okay
I am a better liar than I thought
Because inside I feel gray

Without you here with me
Everything feels wrong
And whenever I see you
It is so hard to be strong

Best friends forever
That's what we always said
But that was the old you
And the old you is dead

From inside that corpse
A new you came
But ever since then
Nothing has been the same

With the old you it was easy
And I could always be myself
But with the new you it was difficult
You care for no one but yourself

So I put a fake smile on my face
And I try to fight back a tear
Because the truth is...
Loosing you was my biggest fear.

Value

Is not measured in dollar and cents.
Makes no sense to value that value
that can be artificially raised and lowered.

Is not measured in actions or words
read in black and white or calls and
texts or hellos and good byes.

Is measured by the person you are
and the light which you bring to my life.
Small enough to carry in my pocket
and big enough to fill a room with.

Find a Poet Not a poser, not a "it's just a hobby" poet. Find one who mumbles lines as they scramble for a pen at breakfast; who shakes their head randomly when their thoughts aren't rhyming properly;  who has notebooks stashed around the house that you must never touch.
2. Listen Savor the spoken words, for those are harder to express. Keep in mind that they can't be edited and re-written, and be forgiving when a mistake is made.
3. Read The body speaks as loudly as words on a page do. When their eyes are closed or focused on the ceiling and the fingers are tapping out syllables, recognize the unique process. Respect the need for quiet, because if you look closely, you can read the poem on their face before they write it on the page.
4. Write Write your story together. Grab hold of the pen and hang on as you move across the page of life. Sometimes you will dance across, others you will be dragged. You may have to cross out a word, or a line, or a page, but don't give up. Discouragement is a poet's biggest enemy, inarticulateness their biggest fear. So end each day with a semi-colon, because the story will never end the way you think it will, and there must be room for more. There is always room for more, more words, more laughter, more tears, more love,
When you love a poet.
