without form
touched by the senses

able to walk through walls
a soul on a journey

much of life is hidden
beneath a single flower

ah! but love
cannot hide forever

the day is full
bountiful
overflowing

where is your heart?
what do you seek?

peace is underestimated
easily pushed aside

its a stream
a river
an ocean
The moon tonight
Was like all the others
That had walked beside my thoughts,
A silent witness, to my slow progress
The faithful Argos of the heel
Whose eyes were as keen and waning
As dying dreams.

It reminded me of an unknown many
Whose once distinct luminance
Was now lost beneath lights.
But still displaying a numinous power;
A silent murmur of ageless charm

The moon one night
Which drew galleys through ancient harbours
And whose tips of light bestrew the sea
And lit the narrow alleys of a dust choked city
Where soldiers tumbling from the arms of a *****
Would lie beneath it and remember their mothers

peace in your own heart first

then you might be of some use
Why on earth did you
Give the highest lockers to
Two of the short girls

invited by birth
into the universal dance

your simple being
nothing more is asked

participation can be
to be, and to be yourself
Even on the bottom branch
sometimes, you must be the first
and only
leaf to bud.
National Poetry Month Day 28.....(I can still post these in May, right?)
It's dark,
Shaun Morgan is bellowing into my ears that he's reliving the same experiences over and over,
That nothing's forever.

The flick of a bic,
The taste of tobacco and ash,
Filling my lungs and giving my brain a buzz,
And in this sleepless night I'm inclined to agree with him,
Nothing lasts forever,
So what are you waiting for?
