Perhaps I mightve been a lobster
My backwards spine and plate,
Perhaps as human I am fitter
Perhaps maybe,  a good deal bitter
The stars dance looping circles
Casting their lives brightly,  tightly around
And I am stardust,  true,  and you
As well were once a star.
We could've been lobsters,  but
We lived,  and came so far
And so's our fate

I live in an enormous woman
composed of electronics; she
is everywhere; I can recall when she
was made of wood; before that I imagine
she was made of stone; it's always the same woman
through time & throughout space cuz
all anything is made of is her;
I've known this for so long that I recognize
her when I turn on a machine & hear her voice
over the static background radiation;
in the future she will be made of pixels
which are the closest thing
we have to pure thought forms
which were preceded by drawings
and before that by thoughts alone;
at one time she was made of fire
& before that of water;
preceded by air
Fighting an everlasting battle
That no one can win
I've been holding my ground
But I've forgotten what my footprints look like and the pattern at the bottom of my shoe when I've made progress

night falls like eyelids
on the brink of sleep—
I lay on ***** sheets,
no fault but my own

there are 432 tiles
in my shower stall
I count them everyday,
twice a day,
three times,
four if it’s real bad

after the fith time there
is no more counting,
or singing, or crying,
just being.

water falls off my body,
into the drain,
and i go with it.

The end of life
Is also
The end of death
