A little boy
Maybe a bit too old
Kissing a girl with a heart of gold
He tells her "nobody can know"
then he sees how far he can go

He tells her yes
When she says no

A little boy
Maybe a bit too old

Turning a girl's heart
Into stone.
I'm still new to this poetry business so please don't hate me. sorry.
You cant save my life
I am drawn
drawn in my own pain

You cant make me happy
I am covered
Covered with my own grief

You cant read me
I am written in the paper
damped by my own tears
I hope I die in my sleep
So it'll be just like a dream
Where I can go on floating
For all eternity
That would be fine by me
I hope I die in my sleep

I hope I die in my bed
The very place I lay my head
Not really knowing
When the reaper is met
And with that being said
I hope I die in my bed

I hope I die in the Spring
So when they go to bury me
I will lay there hoping
I'll hear the birds as they sing
That should go without saying
I hope I die in the Spring

I hope I die in midstream
Before old age catches me
Because where I am going
I may need all my strength
Where ever that may be
I hope I die in midstream
not sure the likes of you

has ever been told

but watching you walk

never does grow old
I've sampled love
have looked it in the face
I have felt the warmth of it's soft embrace
I lost that touch
but, at least I had a taste
I have felt the feeling of floating out in space

I've sampled love
have had the taste on my lips
I have felt the touch of love's fingertips
I lost that touch
but, at least I got a glimpse
I have felt the feeling of when a heart skips
Hello Dr. Phil, have you got a segment
I've got a few things latched onto my mind
Don't worry this won't take but a second
If you do me this I'll return the favor in kind

Hello Dr. Phil, it's about my mother
Well really both her and my mother in-law
If you care to throw my wife into the picture
That wouldn't be far off at all

Hello Dr. Phil, have you run into this problem
Or am I a first and is there a cure
Call me right back Doc, I think I can take it
Can you tell me how much longer I've got in this world

Hello Dr. Phil, you might recognize me
I've been to see Oz and those Dr's on Channel 4
Though they canceled my moment said I was clingly and needy
Hello Dr. Phil, can I be a friend of yours

Hello Dr. Phil, have I mentioned the aliens
Do you do abductions, is that your forte
Cause if you do I can get you more ratings
We'll bowl over Maury he'll have nothing to say

Hello Dr. Phil*, I keep calling and calling
The heavy breathing? Yea, could be me on the line
But if you would answer neither of us would stress out
We could solve both our problems if you'd just give me the time

'Young lady, why is your poetry so dark?'
I don't know good sir, it's probably because I have my insides at war.
