Clouds have hidden this Blue Sky

Many hide under thick green trees

The freckles among your body are stars
Not because they make a shape
Or twinkle in the night
Not because they each have a story
Or are scars from battles fought
But because they hold a deeper meaning
Of everything you are
A constant burning light in life
That fills this darkest soul

Your words dig deeper into me than the waters if I were drowning
       Your words are never lonely because they stay in my heart forever
Your words could be a symphony, and I would aspire to be Mozart
       Your words capture everything you speak, better than a Kodak ever could

Anytime my coffee gets cold
I can't help but think of you
It scalds my mouth as I drink it too fast
But the pain doesn't compare
To that I feel missing you
