(Verse 1)
Write a letter
Pray the tides will change
Don't forget her
In lands so cold, so strange

Sing horizon
Show me where she left off
She is smiling
Waiting for me to come on home

(Bridge)

(Verse 2)
Keep me alive
Past the winter and summer days
Help me survive
So I'll meet a tender embrace

Never let go
Pray for the safest of returns
Within I know
I will find my way back home

(Chorus)
Summer day (Summer days)
Summer nights (Summer nights)
Some are simple way of holding you

Winter moons (Winter moons)
Winter lights (Winter lights)
Wandering on earth, but on my way back home

(Bridge)

(Verse 3)
Looking onward
Keeping him locked in my mind
Pressing forward
Never leaving him behind

No more sorrow
Make Decembers feel like June
Maybe not tomorrow
But I know he'll be home soon

(Bridge)

(Verse 4)
I am waiting
See the ocean toss and turn
Past the shading
Of my skin, my soul does burn

Never wonder
I give love to you alone
Never cast asunder
Is my love, he's coming home

(Chorus)
Summer day (Summer days)
Summer nights (Summer nights)
Some are simple way of holding you

Winter moons (Winter moons)
Winter lights (Winter lights)
Wandering on earth, but on my way

Summer day (Summer days)
Summer nights (Summer nights)
Some are simple way of holding you

Winter moons (Winter moons)
Winter lights (Winter lights)
Wandering on earth, but on my(your) way back home
Wandering on earth, but on the way back home
Dearest love, just know my love is safe at home

(End)
I don't plan on making it a normal thing, but I wrote this and had to share it. It's meant to be a duet with the male sing the first two verses and the first chorus with the female echoing, then the female singing the last two verses and the next chorus with the male echoing.

Traveler
Bring forth
The Doors of All Wonder
Open them upon my mind
So much more to discover
The place where chaos
Begins to rhyme

From the cultures of survival
To castles of old lands
Lore that held
The hearts afire
The rivals of change
Where romance began

Here the canvas
Turns to the music of muses
Of shapes and colors
Kaleidoscopes of sounds
A care beyond an ocean
The admiration of expression
Held within one integrated
Global Cultural renown...

I miss him
It's the new school year, it all reminds me of him.
How we used to stay up all night depriving each other of sleep because we didn't want the conversation to end, how we planned the next year to go, how we said we could work as long as we had confirmation class.
How he said I was all he needed, how he said he could see us with the same ring on our finger, as we ate cereal and had a child or two running around.
It's silly to think of it all now because we were so young and our love was naïve and how he now says our relationship was a sham
But sometimes I think about all we said to each other
And I miss him

Growing up gay wasn't easy.
Always knowing I was different to the rest.
I never felt right, never felt normal.
Because I'm not.
I'm different.
But sometimes difference is good, isn't it?
I've accepted myself.
But some haven't.

Poetic T
I need to hunt
To make me  whole again,
I peel there skin like parchment
To write my pain on
Then sow to my parts rotted away.

I was once of the light,
Now I am decay.

I touch those I deem unworthy
Of life,
Of freedom,
That only deserve decay,
They become my soldiers,
The departed ones.

My rag and bone men
They hunt the night,
To find those of poor souls
They will be the givers
That keep my decay at bay.

Beware the angel of Decay,
For you may be a rag and bone
Till you collapse in decay.

Beware your life,
Live it in
Sin,
Takers of life,
Worshipers of darkness
Yours will be mine.

For you may be choose as
The flesh sewed on
Parchment of torment
Keeping my decay
For eternity at bay.
