I hear again the sound
of the sea
the water touching my toes

I feel once more
Those arms
that carry me while I am shouting
the same words-

        My love,
        no matter what...
        I love you forever!

We dance again
to the music of the rain
and play like children
like what we had been seeing
in our dreams before

I am yours
you are mine
We are destined to be one
forever
I love you
Death is quite
Stands, waiting, watching
As your life flash’s
Before your eyes
He waits for you
To make the choice
Do you want to live?
Or do you want to die

In a flash
In a moment
You see highlights
Of your life
The good, the bad
The what ifs
And what you do have

Then one singular voice
Whispers softly in your ear
Reaches out to you
As he says his little prayer
Don’t let her die
Let my mum live

Eyes flutter open
A silhouette comes in view
Small head bent
Tear tracks spent
Then you know
Right then and there

**I have a life to live
My boy was only seven years old, I was in hospital...dont remember much, but I do remember him praying for me...thanks son you saved my life.
I see no evil
Because we hide the pain
I hear no evil
Because you’re too scared to say
I speak no evil
Because I never could tell anyone
About what was hidden deep inside?
Sad because this is how a victim feels
When the love is gone,
you feel all alone.
The spread of cold through your veins,
where once before a fire flamed and raged.
Numbs your soul and douses the fire.
You sit reflecting on what once was,
only to realise that love goes on.
On to higher ground.
On to higher realms.
On to greater things.
