Flo
A whiff of Frost on the greenish grass
As I step out into a cold October morning
The leafs have long been fallen
The air so pure and cold
It hurts my lungs as I walk along houses
Of strangers that I've never seen
The solitude gives me certainty
I let my mind wander
How I love the cold times of the year
Just a regular morning...
You're the grass beneath my feet,
tickling at my toes,
and darling,
your softness is inviting.

You're the sun that lights my face,
teasing out a smile,
and darling,
your warmth is inviting.

You're the swing set in my back yard,
strong even after all these years,
and darling,
your steadiness is inviting.

You're a mug of cocoa warming my hands,
so pleasant after a snowball fight,
and darling,
your sweetness is inviting.

You're a picture of loveliness,
hung with care on my wall,
and darling,
your frame is inviting.

1. Your sweet embrace
2. Your grinning face
3. Your cherry lips
and
4. Your cheery quips.

The first four in a long list
of reasons I will
always
accept your invitation.
You're a party I won't drag my feet to RSVP to. :)

remember the days of when we were younger
we thirsted from birth and we hunted with hunger
running and laughing under skies of thunder
we were sisters and brothers in a world of wonder

Yet, one is not more relevant than the other
All five are needed to make a fist.

Hold me close, it's so cold
Make the first move, I'm not that bold
This cold weather do I loathe
So with your warm skin clothe
Me
Be
My covering tonight
No honey, let's not fight
Arguments do us no good
Be it about money or food
Hold me tonight
Hold me till the morning light
