Imagine what the world could be
If everyone would love
And promote peace

No more hatred
No more wars
Imagine what the world could be
I am
deliberately
destroying our family.

They say a wise woman
builds her home—
I am removing every brick
we so carefully
stacked.

But do not blame
my wisdom,
or the lack of it.

If only I could show you
all the possible endings
of our story—
the ones I’ve built and rebuilt
in my mind and heart—
and still
it would not be enough
for you to forgive me,
for me to forgive myself,
for the shame
of becoming
a beggar
pleading for life.

Jesus, son of David—
have mercy on me.
Calm,
What a weird,
new feeling.
Stripping anxiety from my bones,
searing itself in its place.
Causing the old ache to seep from skin, my soul.

Hi, new friend.

Please stay.

Envelope my body,
Cause brush fires with my smile.
Lower the humming bird beat of my heart,
Let me join you every night with my head on your pillow,
Until I finally sleep.

Emmy
gravity is a
beautiful maiden.

i fantasize
that she will pull me
down to heaven

that she will help me
stop my lungs
as i fill the cracks
of my heart
with concrete.
if the reader
falls in love with the character of a book,
their love can be eternal.

he can over and over re-read
each part of his beloved.
he can just stop for a while
and gently touch the mirage.
he can even ****** a piece
and carry it for a lifetime.

but what happens
if the character
falls in love with the reader?

So
I try to create
to make art
to write poems
it all seems fake now
the brush strokes
the empty words

I try to create
whilst watching other people successes
They're so much better than me
they're so much further than me,
I wonder if my journey was once there's
if they shared this feeling one time
I create for myself but sometimes it's hard to not feel like a failure even though I'm only at the beginning of my journey

With just one ring, the world stood still,
A question asked, a heart to fill.
A whispered yes beneath starlight,
Two souls entwined that gentle night.

The moon leaves the night
to find the sun,
the sun leaves the day
to find the moon
and I stand in the shadow
they pass between them.
