I'm on a diet again, Oh No!
Giving up favourite foods, woe,
Must reduce my weight,
Before it is too late,
All I dream about is food,
Don't think about men, that's rude!
Yes, definitely food before dudes,
Yo-yo dieting is fun,
of this diet--it's only day one!

We’re searching for a new life,
Hoping for a change,
Wishing for a miracle,
Feeling like we’re strange.

No matter how we may feel,
Or what may come our way,
We’ll keep on moving forward,
With each and every day.

We’re taking up the challenge,
Breaking every mould,
Keeping our momentum,
Striving to be bold.

No matter what we may see,
Or where the road may lead,
We’ll keep on making progress,
With every noble deed.

We’re building for the future,
Fighting for some peace,
Dreaming of a new dawn,
Desperate for release.

No matter where we end up,
Or how the world may end,
We’ll keep on getting better,
With each new twist and bend.

We’re standing at the impasse,
Waiting for our turn,
Planning for the new world,
Sharing all we learn.

No matter who we become,
Or when the day will be,
We’ll keep on making changes,
With every chance we see.
A white wedding, bride and groom,
A fairy tale start, to total gloom,
Their mothers argued at the reception,
Soon he was an expert at deception,
She waited hours for her handsome prince,
To stagger home drunk, with lipstick prints,
No happy ever after for this bride and groom,
A miserable divorce, marriage doomed,
It's an anti-fairy tale, you see,
Some couples are luckier than he and me.....
Feedback welcome.
This is a tale of a bird and a tree,
All revealed to a poet like me,
Once there stood a broad tall tree,
A bird flew, perched, and looked for tea,
Flew down and foraged in the grass,
A cat appeared, would the bird last?
"Quick, fly back to me..."
whispered the branches of the tree,
Safely landed, high in tree,
Munching little worms for tea,
Friends forever now, you see,
A little tale of a bird and tree........
Feedback welcome.

I am a teacher's pet, I'm diligent and well-read,
But nobody knows that all this work wreaks havoc in my head.

I'm always punctual to my classes, moving swiftly across the floors,
But even so, it's a mystery what I do behind closed doors.

I may work hard in every class, and always have good grades,
But those marks can't be achieved without my knives and blades.

I smile sweetly at my peers each and every school day,
But in my head I want to cry, I'm worthless anyway.

I am a teacher's pet, and forever one shall I be,
But only for so long can I hide my scars, in places they can't see.
I wrote this during a free class the other day. What do you think?

when nothing is certain,
he is
everyone has feelings there within there heart

something we are born with from the very start

something that you give something you can show

when emotions start your feelings they will flow.

there to give to others there for you to share

given to us all to show them that we care

something we are given from the very start

there within our heart that will never part
