What is the best placebo?
Paste a smile, and off you go,
Best to leave the scene,
No point being too mean,
We are all mere human beings,
Smiles are a placebo, it seems.

You are,
               what you feel.
You are,
             what you think.

But you
             can
                    change how you feel by changing what you think-

I think.

What once was a picture
Is losing shape
With beautiful colors
That blur on the page
It won’t fit between the lines
And the image starts to fade


Yet I’m beginning to realize
There’s art in my mistake
