The pull of her lips
Is what is keeping the mind
And my docile heart apart,
As this puzzled soul
Weakens by the minute,
Trembling into a glorious moment,
Steadying to a cold close
As an imminent memory,
Statuary,
Barely,
Kissing back.*

I patrolled the heavens of her stars,
The little lightyears, their folds,
Lightly, with my lips, as I took
A handful of celestials,
Of one of her two
     Twin galaxies.*

Waves on the waterfront.
Sun eloping with the sad waters, the lulling ones,
Leaving forlorn the lavender froth
     Of this mischievous sky.

The wind fled and felt heavy
And heavily so for what it cannot touch.
A cicada sings to the ghost of his lover.
A tree misses, always missing,
     Its first leaf.

And I miss her...

The frost of our memories
Thaws away to my soul
As the slow burn of remembering.
And this time, for the very first time,
My heart felt
     Like an inhabited isle.*

I unzip your back and expected,
Anticipated
No goose, nor bump.
No loose passion, no pause,
Nor hesitation.
No wings. No angel.
But I look into you,
Your flesh, your curves
And respected your tired soul.
I shall move, slow, and consider
The new moon.
I'll only kiss, kiss, kiss,
Breathe and pressure the old weight
And the tension away.
I bare you and I unravel the illusion,
The galleries, the ateliers
Of mysteries
Or the path to a naked star.
I embrace you
Just as an answer
To a query.
We shall be together, a reverie,
Entwined.*

Good guys finish last
Because they put their ladies first.*

Shelter your frailty into the open.
Protect it from your lungs, your soul, your *******,
Your curved bones and apprehensions.
I say release and decompress.
Forsake the dangers in your chest
     And love me.*

I will embrace this night and ratify our love,
Expand the Universe.
I shall lather the oldest stars at your body,
Imagine they were true fruits to be kissed,
And slither to the tree of your touch.*
