Silence
It’s something that many people
Can’t handle
In copious amounts
In this day and age
We resort to coping mechanisms
That deflect from much needed
Self reflection
Silence
It scares some to their core
Because they’ve become so disconnected
With themselves
Silence
It entices others
With its alluring illusion of peace
Silence
...

Oh Lisa daughter of the fallen,
Come hither so I may bless you
For what you give with your
Carers’ hands and gentle smile
Is greater than imaginable.

I thank you with my frail heart
And my thin hand and voice
You came to me on Easter Sunday
And again on Easter Monday
Bringing your gifts.

Love Mary

i've decided to come back
and write poems again

it used to hurt me before
like it was just a selfish cry for help

but i've come to realize
that poetry is medicine

and i've come to realize
that it's okay to be selfish

it's okay to heal
in eve's fading light
the end of day calls of birds
drifted on a breeze

Knowing yourself gives the direction to our our soul path .

Knowing yourself gives the happiness of our soul.

Knowing yourself gives the meaning to our living life.

Desolate are the pages
Glistening white
