I saw your face today
For the first time in
Far too long

And it was somehow
A breath of fresh air

My eyes widened and I smiled
But my heart gasped
Aching for you
Aching because of you

God I love that face

More than I ever planned to.
I'm not blocked but it wouldn't let me send a message...congrats babe. I'm glad you're happy now.
I wonder if ketchup does the same thing to Caviar that it
does to Catfish and home fries* ?

You write poetry ?
she almost cackles in disdain.
Followed by an incredulous eyeroll
Who the **** reads poetry anymore.

She continued that's pointless
And unattractive.
How do hope to get a girl.
As though getting bedded
was the reason I write.

She introduced me to her sister
I wrote poems for her
Poems that spilled my soul
onto the paper.
She read them
and said she loved them.
She saved them
in a collection book.

Afew weeks later
She invited me to her bed.
A place where I still love
To read my poetry for her.
So many many years later.
That magically moment when something unexpected
All most impossible happens
It makes you question everything you've been taught
About the universe and the world
You for just an instant
See the world through the eyes of your inner child
When EVERYTHING was possible.
You want to see a smile on my face
Wait a minute while I get my paste

Oh **** that
This is where I'm at
You are my light
I am your night
You are the rays
I am the rain
In all I can see
You complete me
