Anna
I still wear your jacket
but your smell has fade
I’ve been waiting to move on
but it seems these days
just won’t pass.
and I turn off your song
cause I’m not ready yet
to deal with the pain
you caused when you left.
it won’t go.
it won’t leave me alone.
dancing around in my room,
haunted by memories of you.

you said it was over but it never ended for me.
you said it was over. oh, how I wish it could be.
so I found my notebook from Junior year of high school.

Philia
When he kissed her lips,
"You're a good kisser", he said.

Doesn't he know
That she's a great lover too?
Here again, behind closed eyes
Balanced on this fragile threshold
One
Enjoying the moment before it’s over
As morning melts the locks
Two
Tenderly tracing unseen features
Kneading you from dreams and memories
Three
Feeling the meter of your sleeping heartbeat
Synchronizing as we breathe
Four
Folding you closer, moored in your warmth
Pressing your blessed scent against my chest
Five
Picturing the glow outside
Alighting on your resting eyes
Six
Savoring our seven precious seconds
Helplessly defending the present tense
Seven

Today I woke up holding your pillow.

just live
Some think the sunrise
happens all at once.
The sun bursts over the
edge of the earth
And suddenly golden rays
Shower the world!

They're wrong.
The sunrise happens slowly,
almost imperceptible.
The darknes starts to lose its edge.
The blackness goes from black to dark grey.
Then dark grey to light grey.
Until without noticing
you look around and you can see
clearly.
Then over the horizon
peaks the edge
Of the glowing, life bringing orb
that floats in our sky.
That's when the golden rays come,
and warm your very soul.

*You were like the sunrise
