oui
perhaps, right?

oui
the glass is half full and it's full of the cutest red wine, so fine you would even spill it on my white couch and call it art -
red has always been your favorite color
i see there's flowers sprouting out of your shoes again and that grin is slapped back onto your face; so perfect i might even kiss it
perhaps right? why not
i'm crawling out of depression and enjoying the view along the ride of insanity and curiosities
Her caboose
makes me
never want
to leave
the station

Yes,
I saw time stand still
in a fraction
of a second...peace

Saw it happen
as one touched another
in affection...peace

Caught the essence
as Jesus
fed the mulitude
and a mother's smile
nurtured
her child...peace

Yes,
I saw time stand still
as the bright summer moon rested
on a chimney top
and laughter
ruled the night...peace

Felt temporal illusions
vanish before a portrait
by Rembrant
capturing the subject's
inner spiritual psyche
as inspired men
cast off
their heavy macho ways
and hugged...peace

Yes,
I saw time stand still
as smiles lit the darkness
and tears
washed away sins...peace...peace...peace

Selfishness: the quality or condition of being selfish
I've never found a definition
that described me so perfectly

I spend my life
talking about everything I hate
and spreading around negative weight
not even knowing why I wake

and every time I feel just an ounce of selfishness
reality takes it toll on me
and hurts a loved one

why do bad things happen to good people
she's only 24 and is diagnosed
with 4 different cancers
but still manages to find
that reason to smile through the pain

Life has its ways to teach me lessons
but some lessons are more harsh
than others

Selfishness: the quality or condition of being selfish
I've never found a definition
that described me so perfectly

I want to formally say sorry
to everyone who was ever in need
of a life

because I acted like
the life inside of me
was just another branch on a tree

This is a poem......
you don't have to read.
You're busy at home
watching Cable TV.
On Twitter or Facebook,
reading all the minuta
that comes down the feed.
My words may be little,
my words may be small.
But, each and every one
of them, I own them all.
Some will take time,
and others will pass by.
These words will be mine,
till the day that I die.....JMF 2/19/15
I think my inspiration for this was Dr. Seuss, if you think about it he is the Foundation of a lot of Poets by exposing them to it at an early age

You used to be
Someone I loved,
someone I cared about,
Someone I cherished,
and someone I held.

Forced myself into thinking,
that I will always love you
Even if the idea of the perfect person
I thought you were,
was gone forever.

I loved you,
But never had you again.
I held on to you,
But you pushed me away.

How was I going to live?
when my perfect dream became a nightmare?

Now,
I'll go forth.
To the happiness
That sought my worth.

Then, I will no longer regret,
No longer be lonely.

And have the courage to say that,
**"You're no longer my Robin."
