His body is a warzone; the cuts, the scars, the marks.
His mind does not fair much better; but he does try, try, try.
When the moon sails out
the bells fade into stillness
and there emerge the pathways
tha tcan't be penetrated.

When the moon sails out
the water hides earth's surface,
the heart feels like an island
in the infinite silence.

Nobody eats an orange
under the moon's fullness.
It is correct to eat, then,
green and icy fruit.

When the moon sails out
with a hundred identical faces,
the coins made of silver
sob in your pocket.
A block of marble
and twenty six letters of the alphabet
etch so many young names
onto history

Wandering alone
amid the mass grave
an old woman has at last found
her only child
and with her eyes tightly shut
her trembling fingers now feel
for the mortal wound
on his ice-cold forehead
It was love
When I first saw you
And it was the same love
When I chose to let you go...

Today I sat in front of the mirror and questioned my worth
I questioned my beauty
I questioned my heart

I am not brave nor am I strong
As tears rolled down my face
Whispers continued to taunt me
Are u enough ?

Today I sat in front of the mirror and fell apart  as my heart shattered before my eyes
