I met a mysterious man
It was love at first sight

Thought he was charming
Things weren't quite right

He spoke to me romantic
Pure seduction in my eyes

I loved the way he kissed
It taste of such sweet lies

He gazed deep to my soul
He said I was perfection

Yet it was not me he spoke
But to his own reflection

He was a man so confident
Sure no one could disagree

So naive I was for thinking
That you could ever love me

Now I find myself silenced
A little lost book in a shelf

A Narcissist can not love
Except their beautiful self

she was broken and fragile
[she is beautiful]
she wanted to give up
[she's nineteen turning twenty]
i loved her and i didn't know why
[she's perfect]
im glad she didn't give up and I'm glad she pulled through
[she's happy now]
she's stronger than anyone I've ever met
[she's  alive. she's well. she's okay]

Those who give nasty looks
Choose to be rude
They read bad books.

Looking with dragon eyes
Knowing as they accuse
They hold the lies.

So look at me cross-eyed
So you dare.
Based on your integrity lacking
I do not care.

I look at you back
With a face in repair.
My eyes are strong
And they tell you,
So there.

I drank you up, effortlessly.
As I did so,
I closed my eyes.
So that no other reality would blind me.
The lukewarm aura of your being,
Slowly trickled down my throat into every single airway,
Until you permeated in my veins.
To imagine a life not fully consumed by you is unimaginable.
I will forever close my eyes.
So that no other reality will blind me.

during the moments that we spent apart,
I noticed space seeping behind the walls of your eyes,
blurring your vision.

During the moments that we spent apart,
I could feel my mind begin to stale
As I was stuck with beckoning thoughts seeking a lost love.

during our lasts moments,
All became silent.

We stood at opposite sides of a bay for hours,
Watching as the water flowed on and on.
Understanding that life will go on,
it must.
Our silence was overcome
with an overwhelming feeling of acceptance,
as we slowly retreated.

Walking our different directions,
Walking away from the bay and all of it's teachings.
