So much to go wrong
So much that never went right
It's just one of those nights
Where the light never shows
Because the sun hides behind the midnight Blues
Between the whiskey above the counter
The marijuana in my drawer
And these pills in my hand
I don't know what to take first
To cure my anxiety of never being enough
The light that escapes the darkness
And enters my room
From the moon
Shows a spotlight
To what's right
It looms over my eyes
Like something great
That has a mysterious fate
It's too bad I never believed
In fate

What if
we fell unto
each other's
arms?
Showed you the
2x2 picture
of yours
still at the folds of my wallet?

What if I chose your favorite
Ice cream flavor
everyday
at the Ice cream shop
We once went to?

What if I chose
your favorite
pizza parlor,
hugged you even more,
and told you
"You'll love what I have for you."

What if I
kissed harder
and told you what I feel?

What if I
held you closer
caressed your beautiful face
and marveled at your
magnificent eyes?

What if I
told you
Right now
everything I want
you to know?

And what if
I did everything
I wanted to do,
and let you
feel
and
know
How much
**I love you?

She staked her Feathers—Gained an Arc—
Debated—Rose again—
This time—beyond the estimate
Of Envy, or of Men—

And now, among Circumference—
Her steady Boat be seen—
At home—among the Billows—As
The Bough where she was born—

Her's was a quiet love
filled with love letters
moonlight
and roses
His was a fiery love
filled with danger
rough kisses
and a certain violence
He gave her
the warmth she craved
through his fiery passion
without singe
She gave him
a cooling calm
soothing his ravaged soul
with her gentle breeze
Unlikely pair?
Most definitely...
But what a balance
they achieved
He was her fire
She, his cooling breeze*
