Tonight,
I want to hide behind my keyboard
And be the words in my poem.

And if my poem does speak
nonsense, that is because
I am
in word and in flesh

the absolute of it.

today i got admitted into my university's writer's guild, after submitting five of my best works from here (hellopoetry). I am ecstatic to be a part of the university's official writing organization and i thank you all readers and friends for reading my works. I love writing, i really do, and even if I'm an fine arts student, words speak more to me than pictures and symbols do. I dedicate my acceptance into the Guild to everyone who has supported me by liking, sharing and reading my poems. Thank you.
So so so happy!!!!!! Now a new happiness has been checked off my happiness list in life haha
Some feelings
are just like echoes
-heard by nothing
but air
and returned
by nothing
but walls.
in whispered words
you sing along with
the song of my heart

unconcerned with tune
or harmony
a simple chorus
in unison

the reverb swells
as the presence
multiplies
you and i and love;
with Spirit
adding contrabass
more felt than heard

May we both have happiness

The thing we desired for
The thing we deserve to have

As we part ways, opening new doors

It's hard to write a poem
When there's nothing going on
It's hard to think of what to say
When you've given most of it away

As poets we never scratch the surface
We delve within, disclose our deepest sin
We crave our pain, declare it's for our art
Yet more often than not have no idea where to start

But start we do and start we must
A deep desire in all of us
To spill out on the written page
What little bit we have tried to save

Ink now is the poets blood
Fragments of self pour from within
Silence is our safety net
To stop us from bleeding out

Although it's hard to write a poem
With nothing going on
We still find words to form a verse
From deep within our marrow bone

The bottom of my root catches the cement
Each curve gripping it tightly
Curves as unique as I am
My feet dance across the cool pavement
Dancing to the beat of the wind
Whooshing across the floor
As the wind glides in and out
In and out through my fingertips
And the strands of my hair
For a second I close my eyes
I am nowhere
I am everywhere
The only anchor is the wind
Reminding me I am a formless being
My particles connected to the particles of the universe
Barriers cease to exist
The unique curves of my feet
Curves that only belong to me
Now belong to the universe
A fear so deep, so embedded,
in caring for the lives that were created.
My best intentions, try to protect your heart and soul.
You are mine and I am you.
You grow and grow and grow.
With each passing year, one thing is defined, the love I have for you.
Such a miracle to see the life that exists within these three personalities.
Never have I loved something more.

You are the kisser of pigment on my lips
With your entrancing, dancing fingertips
You are the sweet surprise I seek
The strands of hair brushed from my cheek
For you, my love
She kinda laughed
as I flipped the hourglass.
"Nothings gonna save you,
not even the god that made you."
I've been playing with fire ever since.
