Neknomination its a sensation of the younger generation,
But how foolish and ghoulish trying to act coolish,
They drink sin after sin after sin from a bin, chin chin,
So wrong, along with the urging and surging from people emerging,
From the gutter, they stutter, he's a total ******........
DRINK,
Don't think,
Of the consequence, or comeuppance, don't repent,
It's meant to be fun, watch this son, I'll have another one,
Don't do it, but they do it,
Please,
He's on his knees, beginning to wheeze,
It's not good, he's spewing up blood, I knew he would,
But then the devils been chased from his den, he's not after men,
He wants the young, they'll get stung by his poisonous tongue,
Then it's done,
To late,
That wasn't great was it mate,
Neknomination it's an abomination for the younger generation.

Helen
Printed a couple of poems
onto crisp white pages
My daughter coloured pictures
around words that took ages
Hole punched the left hand side
with Pink wool it is tied

Written and illustrated
by Helen and Chelsea

It's my greatest achievement to date
(beside my daughter, you see)
note, tongue in cheek :) I actually do have 1 book of Poetry, it even has its own ISBN except, there is only one copy in existence, it sits on my husbands bedside table and he guards it zealously :)

A captivating set of brown laughing eyes caress my soul with happiness
Slim limbs dangle around my neck like the most beautiful necklace I will ever wear.
Here's to wishing 10 lasted longer than one year
For my son who just turned 10

Poetry hurts.
It hurts to look at, hurts to read, because
it digs into the muscle fiber of your heart and burns its way
marking a fixed tattoo in your bone marrow
tearing through your brain material and ******* you dry.
It requires you to latch into the throttle of the soul and feel the pain
and joy
of everything you experience.
No, there is no escape-
explore your pain, stay there, fully enjoy the beauty and the frightening
love of this terribly glorious world.
Books don't hurt,
they placate. They are the balm on your poetry-burns,
allow you to view your pain objectively, to quietly observe
from a peaceful, magical
faraway land where pain doesn't matter
and that roller coaster is just a funny backdrop instead of
the vehicle in which you fall in love and lose your innocence
in the same run.
Books are the numbing, the morphine
to allow you to fall into an enchanted sleep.

We all need books and poetry at different times- to each his own-
but for my own part,

I prefer poetry.

Revenant
You are shocks down my spine
Electricity
Fear
Wonderful
You are warm hands and heated breath
Flashing eyes and quiet smiles
You are soft touches and pressure
Long nights and quick pulses
How these butterflies flutter about, as if to wish release from goodness.
Always screaming doubts and madness
Madness
Madness
Madness
This is madness
Breathe
Breathe
Breathe
