nature friend
such spells you weave
astonishing views
and bizarre life forms
can your anteaters
and your Appalachian mountains
halt construction
I fear it is nothing much
In the face of progress.
Eh

When I die
I hope
you are near
so
I can take you with me
I doubt i'm heaven bound.

O'clock O clock
It rings and rings
The faucet drips
A kettle sings

O'clock Clock in
It coughs and beep
The keyboards clack
A cubicle weeps

O'clock Clock out
Cough again beep
The sirens whine
A child sleeps

O'clock O clock
It rings and rings
The faucet drips
A kettle sings

I can't drown my sorrows
They can swim
I can't hold my tears from crawling out
They run down my cheeks
I can't control my depression
It has utterly devoured me
I can't be strong
My woes weakened me
I can't contain the heartbreaker
It has destroyed my soul
I can't contain this hurt
It has eaten up my feelings
I wish I could change all of this
but I can't ; it's who I've became
A poem about woes and heartbreaks poem to read when sad
