Where does the time go
When your holding those
You love?

Time flows out of you
Into the love. And the love

Only grows
As your time
Goes

been waiting for you a really long time
hoping you'd just walk into my life
or into my room while I'm sitting there
smoking cigarettes  sipping tea writing poetry
like a surprise from Heaven
like a divine gift
like food in the desert from God
like a candy store Paradise for ant
like a video game arcade that's free of charge
like a buffet from all over the world
like a womanizer who never realized he was a Muslim martyr
like a man god who's got a million brides
like a boy whose worshiped on earth
like a toy whose job is to provide pleasure
like a clown whose a court jester
like a poet who never knew it
like a god who was sleeping all his life
like an angel who loved the devil
like a man who sold himself for love
like a fool in tarot who owns the world
like the wind that never stays in one place
like the fire of love that burns the sea
like the eyes that are the gateway to the soul
like the soul that is lost and unlike any other
like the love that is the Only one love story
that God wrote with her own hands.
not feeling well, took the day off from work and confused
And if these words should touch your heart
when dance they will past jaded eyes,
weave subtle smiles as tears depart,
from broken hearts and pretty lies.

And if my song it moves your soul
to dance in rhythm to it's beat
then I will sing until you're whole
and darkest fears admit defeat.

Then I will know I've played my part
in bringing light to fractured shore
and I will keep your hand in mine
until the darkness leaves your door.
For my dearest friend... Keep looking up and peace will find you :-) x
( you shouldn't use and in a poem!!
:-P)
I am broken
I am scars
I am silence
I am darkness
I am trouble.
I am *****
I am damaged
I am faults wrapped in eager flaws.
I am unrepentant
I am shamed
I am shattered
I am irreparable.

I am lost.

I am every child that was ever taken too soon from the breast of its mother.
I am every girl who's innocence was shredded by greedy hands and hungry mouths.
I am every pill I ever lined up and swallowed in the hope of sating the voice that begged for my passing.
I am every whiskey I ever chased into oblivion with another...and another ....and another.

I am all these things

and yet

I am hope
I am beauty
I am laughter
I am free.
I am honesty
I am belief
I am truth.
I am.
I am worthy...
I. am. worthy.
I am healing.
I am loved.
Finally.

When you came from mountains
came washed from seas
you gave me words
told me everything
like two birds or flowers
blooming in the Spring
the green of everything
soft and mossy dream
it spoke of love
told me everything
when you came
gentle, sweet with rain
not an ordinary day
the way you came
and told me everything.

I remember when back in the day, you used to bound towards my feet.
You'd stop so deadly at my heels,
Sit perfectly for your treat.

Your tail was always wagging.
Your tongue a constant pant.
Your eyes fixated on my stare, waiting for your next command.

You used to prance around in fields,
And wade your way through puddles,
whenever I was upset,
you'd come and give me cuddles,

But now your getting old boy,
and ive got to do right by you,
I've got to give you eternal peace,.
I just wish you only knew,

Just how happy you made me, coming home to you each and every day,
And the greetings that you gave me,
Set me on my way,
No matter what mood I was in, You'd always make me smile.
You were always in my life.
You were my boy.
You were loyal

Silence falls as darkness comes
bleeding colour from the earth.
Alone I sit, screen lit, waiting for sleep to find me.

It's there we meet,
there we create sparks of light to rival galaxies.
There is no beauty finer than that created in nether worlds,
tales woven through darkness and sub conscious need,
while demons weep at the beauty of our souls.

Tides may change at the moon's behest,
daylight mocks our longing
yet we remain steadfast
You my flotsam, I your jetsam
tossed within life's currents,
while we cling to our conscience
in hope of repair.
Praying into the void for forgiveness and the dimming of the sun,
that we may dream once more.
